Performance of Integration, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), Repairs and Customer Training of mechanical and electrical motion simulators and avionics test equipment at Ideals manufacturing facility and customer facilities. This position is of utmost importance to providing our customer with confidence in Ideal Aerosmiths products and services.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs integration of Ideal product using manufacturing instructions, knowledge of electronics, electrical components, computers and system level functionality of the products.
• Sets up and operates test equipment to perform ATP of assemblies or systems under simulated operating conditions.
• Analyzes and interprets test information for acceptability.
• Inspection of assemblies (visual, continuity checks, etc) to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and components.
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely and provide timely responses to customers technical support inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system. Work closely with engineering staff when needed to solve the customer issue.
• Represent Ideal while performing calibration and/or repair of product while onsite at customer facilities.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the working calendar year.
• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience in similar work preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to travel (domestic and internationally).
• Must have valid drivers license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Must be US Citizen or permanent resident.

Skill Requirements

• Experience with various measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Experience with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, frequency counter, etc.
• Read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• Attention to follow detailed verbal and written instructions very important.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Accurately complete paperwork.
• Experience in the use of computers.

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to lift and/or carry 45 lbs.
• The position will require walking, standing, squatting, crouching, stooping, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing, sitting, repetitive motion, kneeling, laying on the floor, and will require the employee to work in a cramped or confined space
