Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48439, United States. The role primarily involves handling accounts payable tasks in the healthcare sector, with responsibilities ranging from invoice processing to account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain and manage customer credit records.

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Analyze invoices, expense reports, and contracts to allocate invoices to appropriate accounts.

• Prepare checks for payment runs.

• Utilize PeopleSoft ERP software for account adjustments and analysis.

• Identify and rectify account discrepancies.

• Regularly review purchase orders, statements, and contracts needed to prepare payments.

• Assist in the full process of accounts payable which includes entering and reviewing invoices. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Adjustments, Account Analysis, and managing Account Discrepancies

• Demonstrated expertise in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in preparing checks, processing check requests, and managing weekly check processes

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft ERP is essential

• High attention to detail and accuracy in accounting tasks

• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually

• Solid problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations.
