The work involves responsibility for professional nursing duties in relation to the care of residents in a long-termcare facility. Work is performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and the current acceptedstandards of nursing practice under the general supervision of a Nursing Care Manager or Nursing CareSupervisor. Supervision is exercised over a number of Licensed Practical Nurses, Senior Nursing Assistants andNursing Assistants.
