ABOUT THIS POSITION We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability to join our rapidly growing Digital Solutions team located in our Minneapolis, MN location. As an integral part of our DevOps team, you will work closely with our engineers and scientists to debug applications and develop solutions for our next generation Inspire products. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Provide software expertise for new products as well as changes to existing products Coordinate the investigation of technical issues across Azure DevOps Pipelines, Infrastructure configuration, mobile applications, desktop and web applications; working with the technical leads of each function, driving to root cause and proposals for improvements to our products Conduct/engage in software design reviews for products in development to ensure code developed meets or exceeds coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency Build and deploy cutting edge patient management and support services on Azure using .NET Core, C#, Python, and/or other supporting languages Assist with system, software, security, and risk management documents Test, debug, and document integration solutions and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets the business needs, while in compliance with applicable regulations and processes Ensure compliance with industry applicable standards for medical devices Ensure all quality system, regulatory, legal, and business requirements are met in the course of product development and market delivery Create, control, and store software source and executable code Support Inspire customers as assigned WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience 6+ years of progressive software development experience Experience utilizing .NET, C#, and/or Python Demonstrated experience conducting software investigations, designing, developing, and delivering innovative software technology Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership Preferred: Advanced level degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline Experience with Cloud development in Azure and/or AWS Software deployment experience utilizing Terraform Mobile application development Medical device experience Inspire Medical Systems provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, status regarding public ass stance, membership or activity in a local commission, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, and local laws.
