This position is part of the Gene Reading Solutions Product Management Team managing the Archer Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Product line located in Boulder, Colorado and will on-site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with regional sales, R&D scientists, and operations team members to facilitate the sale, manufacturing, and support of custom products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market trends, analyze custom metadata, and gather customer feedback to drive sales growth through rapid innovation of new content or capabilities.

  • Develop and maintain relevant product and process documentation including product inserts, product specifications, and standard operating procedures.

  • Become and maintain a subject matter expert level of knowledge about current IDT NGS products pertaining to the Archer Product line of Gene Reading Solutions. As a subject matter expert, support teams such as Customer Success, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Control and contribute to cross-functional projects.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master’s degree in biochemistry, biology, molecular biology or related field OR Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, biology, molecular biology or related field AND 5+ years of work experience with at least 3+ years as a product manager

  • 3+ years of experience in research and development, technical support, or product management in the NGS space

  • 2+ years of expereince in customer facing roles

  • Demonstrated understanding of how to prioritize, organize, and manage task backlog

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate business cases in collaboration with product management for new market opportunities and proposals

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • PhD in biochemistry or related field

  • Previous experience with NGS assay design

The salary range for this role is $110,000-$130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
