The Location

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and sparkling blue lagoons, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast comprises of approximately 300 guest rooms, four award winning restaurants and bars, and a luxurious spa retreat, all in an absolute beachfront environment.

With 14 event rooms throughout the hotel, we can accommodate everything from small boardroom meetings to large events for up to 1,000 guests.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Events, you will be responsible for effectively handling incoming event enquiries and quotes, planning and executive all sized events, and liaising with clients before, during and after their event to ensure a memorable experience is provided.

Successful candidates will:

• Have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel environment

• Be an energetic multi-tasker with meticulous attention to detail and a creative approach to planning events that are seamlessly delivered

• Be an exceptional communicator with a natural ability to develop strong rapport with clients, guests and internally with the Sales and Banquets teams.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

• Be able think on your feet and find innovative solutions to any problems that arise
