Mechanical Engineer

GN ReSound Global R&D Team is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer .

In this position, you will report to Sr. Mechanical Development Manager .

You will get your hands on the following exciting tasks:

• Has a basic understanding of engineering parts in plastic and metal, as well as the tooling & process technology involved.

• Demonstrates good command of computer-aided design tools, i.e. Creo

• Undertakes elementary design tasks and sustaining tasks without supervision.

• Able to create mechanics documents needed for key milestones (e.g. Mech BOM, TFP´s etc.) and 2D drawings within given design guidelines, standards and procedures.

• Is able to participate in the planning and follow up on tool trials, support assembly builds, capture and summarize the findings.

• Is able to participate in analyzing and carrying out root cause analysis.

• Able to work closely with colleagues from different culture as a team

• Other tasks assigned by managers

We would like that you:

• Bachelor or above, major in Mechanics. Polymer science or equivalent.

• At least two years’ experience in the development of electronics product is preferred.

• Technical background including plastic, sheet metal and rubber part design and relevant tooling and DFM knowledge, etc.

• Skillful in Creo or relevant CAD software. Able to apply Top-Down design to create 3D design files and relevant 2D drawing.

• Experience in FEA analysis or mold flow will be preferred

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Chinese.

• Have very strong interpersonal and communication skill.

• Take strong initiative to take up high working pressure.

• Be a good team player.
