LEASED HOUSING MANAGER: The Gloucester Housing Authority seeks a highly motivated individual to provide overall management of Federal, State and Local Rental Assistance Programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively manage all aspects of the rental assistance programs they are responsible for, including providing lease-up briefings, explaining rules and regulations to participants. Create and maintain positive relationships with all participants and landlords within the programs. Conduct informal hearings and private conferences regarding complaints and lease violations. Responsible for participant selection and updates to appropriate waiting lists in accordance with state and federal regulations. Maintain knowledge of all state, federal, and local regulations and statutes concerning rental assistance programs and sanitary code. Work closely with resident services, operations, housing management staff, and outside service providers to ensure participants are receiving the support needed. QUALIFICATIONS: One year of public housing, rental assistance, or tenant management experience or equivalent preferred. Ability to work independently. Interpersonal communication, mediation, typing and business math skills are a must. Prior experience with state and federal housing regulations, real estate practices and computers are highly desirable. Bi-lingual a plus. Full Benefits, 35 hours/week. Mass Drivers license required. Salary: \$59,572/annually.
