JOB SUMMARY

Graphic Packaging International (GPI) is embarking on a journey to transform HR and improve how we deliver services to our most valued asset – our employees. The People Associate will manage cases and escalate issues to various other HR Centers of Excellence (COE), when necessary, to effectively meet stakeholder needs. An ideal candidate is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction. This person uses their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve on the People Services team as tier 1 support, connecting stakeholders to relevant resources.

  • Facilitate case management by creating, updating, and closing cases while ensuring customers are satisfied and issues are promptly resolved.

  • Manage data, processing, and reporting, including hire-to-retire transactional employee administration, ensuring these processes are executed, audited, governed, and documented according to defined service levels.

  • Complete employee data transactions with accuracy, following quality controls and compliance requirements

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines, including Sarbanes Oxley.

  • Process and document employee verification and facilitate litigation hold administration (Canada)

  • Work closely with all stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (COEs), HRIS, IT, and other service delivery teams, to implement standard, automated, harmonized, lean, efficient, effective, and sustainable processes.

  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles such as process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOP), job aids, and employee lifecycle process content.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources management, or relevant field of study

  • 1+ years of HR experience

  • Working knowledge of HR systems/technologies, especially Contact Center Telephony, Service Center Case and Knowledge Management

  • Working knowledge and understanding of human resource principles and practices

  • Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse tasks, as well as effectively handle pressure and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong follow-through skills and ability to resolve issues promptly

  • Ability to maintain highly confidential employee information and files

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in HR Service Delivery functions in HR Operations or HR Shared Services

  • Experience with SuccessFactors and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery

  • Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement

  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM Certification

Pay Range: $45,400.00 - $75,600.00
