Description A successful organization that will recognize your efforts is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. Candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, will be preferred for this position. This position is for candidates with the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. This Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for permanent employment that is located in the Glenview, Illinois area.

Major responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

• Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

• Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants Requirements

• Customer service oriented communication skills

• Microsoft Excel experience desired

• Recent relevant financial experience

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• CPA or MBA preferred

• Reliable technology and analytical abilities
