Adecco Healthcare is searching for a dedicated and motivated Radiology Technician to join our client's team at their top-tier facility in Glens Falls, New York 12801. This is a direct-hire, permanent position.

Pay

$30.00 to $46.52 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift

8am-4pm

License and Certification Requirements

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • Current BLS Certification.

Required Experience and Abilities

  • 1 year of experience is desired. However NEW GRADS are accepted and welcome to apply!

  • Graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of clinical and professional accountability.

  • Effective communication skills with patients, students, staff, and physicians.

  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to patients and stakeholders.

  • Capability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.

  • Ability to thrive in and promote a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with a diverse patient population, encompassing various educational, cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

  • Required computer literacy and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality exams using appropriate technical skills, following established procedures and protocols.

  • Participate in all aspects of patient care, including pre- and post-procedure support in the patient care area.

  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, education, radiation protection, and excellent customer service throughout the procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, particularly in the Radiology Information System.

  • Produce accurate imaging from the workstation and present X-ray scans to the radiologist.

  • Perform the duties of a staff technologist while providing direct and indirect clinical supervision and education to students in the clinical setting.

  • Collaborate and engage in department-related projects or teams focused on improvement opportunities.

  • Assist with supportive tasks such as transporting patients, performing office/clerical functions, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining room supplies, and cleaning radiographic equipment.

  • Occasionally provide direct and indirect supervision of radiology students and oversee orderlies to ensure smooth patient flow.
