Alaant IT Training and Support Manager in Glens Falls, New York

Do you have IT Support experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to lead and manage a team (Tier 1 and Tier 2)? If so, Alaant Workforce Solutions has an opportunity with a top financial organization in the capital region!

Hours and Benefits for the IT Training and Support Manager:

  • On-site Monday-Friday

  • $65,000 - $85,000

  • Paid Time Off, plus paid Holidays

Responsibilities for the IT Training and Support Manager:

  • Support and Operations Management:

  • Oversee helpdesk support operations, including the call center and ticket system, with minimal hands-on technical work.

  • Focus on supervising, planning, meeting, training, and evaluating metrics and trends to enhance the support team and improve the user experience.

  • Team Leadership :

  • Lead and mentor the helpdesk support team, ensuring performance standards, resource availability, and continuous improvement.

  • Training and Development :

  • Collaborate with HR to enhance new hire orientation and training. Develop and present effective curricula for new technologies to small or large groups, both remotely and in-person. Create clear documentation and communication for end users about upcoming changes.

Requirements for the IT Training and Support Manager:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology-related field or equivalent experience required.

  • 5+ years of support experience required, supervisory experience preferred!

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective in presenting and working with vendors, co-workers, and management.
