Alaant IT Training and Support Manager in Glens Falls, New York

Hours and Benefits for the IT Training and Support Manager:
On-site Monday-Friday
$65,000 - $85,000
Paid Time Off, plus paid Holidays

Responsibilities for the IT Training and Support Manager:
Support and Operations Management:
Oversee helpdesk support operations, including the call center and ticket system, with minimal hands-on technical work.
Focus on supervising, planning, meeting, training, and evaluating metrics and trends to enhance the support team and improve the user experience.
Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor the helpdesk support team, ensuring performance standards, resource availability, and continuous improvement.
Training and Development :
Collaborate with HR to enhance new hire orientation and training. Develop and present effective curricula for new technologies to small or large groups, both remotely and in-person. Create clear documentation and communication for end users about upcoming changes.
Requirements for the IT Training and Support Manager:
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology-related field or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of support experience required, supervisory experience preferred!
Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective in presenting and working with vendors, co-workers, and management.
