Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. The Financial Analyst at BlueOval SK – BlueOval Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.

BlueOval SK is seeking a candidate capable to lead this critical investment of capital in the EV revolution and partner with our parent organizations and customers. An individual willing to take on the challenge of building something new and to proactively develop, communicate, and implement the best solutions will find an enjoyable and rewarding experience in this role.

The Controller's team size allows for many opportunities to lead cost savings efforts, present financial reports to the operating team, and learn the overall manufacturing process.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Work as an integral part of BlueOval SK's wider Finance team

• Support the operations team as they make decisions in a dynamic plant environment.

• Develop and scale core processes and systems supporting:

• Daily cost performance reviews with management, including key operating metrics

• Annual budget and monthly forecasts.

• Automating key processes

• Support Controller on internal control issues

• Provide analytical support for special studies and ad hoc assignments

• Develop and maintain relationships and work cooperatively with all stakeholders

• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Strong analytical skills including Finance business acumen

• Ability to manage detail while supporting multiple tasks or critical deadlines

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience with SAP

Preferred Requirement

• MBA Accounting or Finance

• Manufacturing experience

• Experience with data analysis applications (Alteryx, Tableau)
