Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Sales Manager to join the leadership team at our NEW location opening in Glendale, AZ!
This is a salaried Manager Position with opportunities to make significant commissions!
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is a rapidly growing Family Entertainment company. Our multistate portfolio of AIKG locations feature high-speed, high-tech indoor Karting on multilevel tracks, multi-player Virtual Reality Simulators, Arcade fun, and sophisticated event spaces & restaurants featuring scratch cocktails and culinary creations crafted in our kitchens.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the Sales Team in executing targeted programs to drive pre-sold group business. This role focuses on selling and coordinating all social, military, education, religious, and fraternal (S.M.E.R.F) events. The Sales Manager is expected to uphold AIKG’s quality and ethical standards while representing the Andretti brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with clients on all aspects of group events, including:
Qualifying leads
Conducting site tours/inspections
Assisting with menu selection
Managing contracts
Coordinate with on-site operations to ensure smooth event execution.
Represent AIKG at hospitality and trade events.
Handle POS transactions efficiently.
Ensure a high-quality guest experience and promptly address any service recovery needs.
Empower team members to deliver exceptional service standards.
Maintain the highest levels of product and service quality.
Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and guests.
Identify new business opportunities by researching and analyzing potential sales options.
Establish contacts and develop relationships with prospective clients.
Consistently meet or exceed individual quarterly sales goals.
Manage lead follow-up and generate new business.
Required Qualifications
Experience with inbound Sales
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Solid fundamentals in MS Office
Work a varying days, nights, holidays and weekends
Eligible to work in the United States
At least 18 years of age
Preferred but great to have:
Three years minimum of Sales leadership experience in the hospitality industry
Current trainer, team lead or shift leader if internal brand applicant
Ability to motivate and work with various levels of staff members and leaders
Ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate authority where appropriate
Proven leadership and team skills
Strong administrative skills
