Description

Essential Job Duties:

· Coordinate recruiting events and travel to venues to present job opportunities to groups

· Prepare job descriptions, post jobs, and screen applicants for minimum qualifications

· Follow up with groups, programs and park departments on applicant statuses

· Processing newly hired employees paperwork and background screening coordination

· Coordinates and conducts all Park Training programs

· Coordinate and run all employee events; can include picnics, appreciation events, and incentive programs

· Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Park policies and procedures including labor laws

· Supervise seasonal staff and oversee all operational functions related to HR, Safety, Security, Parking and IT departments

· Responsible for the development, implementation and sustainment of a safety program while enforcing the Corporate Safety policies and initiatives.

· Implement and maintain the Safety & Risk Manual, Emergency Response Manual, Safety Awareness Manual, and Safety and Risk Management Standard Operating Procedures documents.

· Manage all litigation, General Liability claims, and Workers Comp investigations.

· Act as liaison with outside law enforcement agencies.

· Coordinates with Corporate IT on projects

· Responsible for all IT equipment and troubleshooting challenges as they arise

· Perform Department Duty Manager role as assigned

· All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

· Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

· Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, with time management skills

· Must possess ability to work with minimal direct supervision

· Must be available Days, Evenings, Overnights (Graveyard), Weekends, and Holidays

· The ability to work indoors and outdoors and in all weather conditions

· Must have the ability to stand, walk and run for periods of time, as well as bend, squat, kneel and stoop when needed

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is beneficial

· Prior supervisory experience in a related field

· College degree preferred, but not required

· Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator
