This includes configuration management of hardware and software environment, supporting the Desktop development environment, providing cloud solutions, implementing infrastructure as code, and asset management and procurement. You will be a key member of the team, where the rubber meets the road, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps. Build and maintain infrastructure as code for cloud-based services Procure, build, and maintain configuration management for on-prem hardwareProvide and maintain standard Linux and Windows operating systems environments Responsible for asset management reporting and tracking Procure, install, and manage software licenses Assist in establishment, maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud-based and on-prem networking Automate development and operation processes to ensure reliability and repeatabilityRequired Skills and Experience:Current Top Secret Security Clearance, preferably a Top Secret SCI with a current polygraph Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II or higher (like Security+) or willing to obtain within 6 months Experience with AWS Infrastructure Experience with infrastructure as code concepts Experience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and GPU assets Knowledge on how to build, configure, and administrate all aspects of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 & 8 Must be able to apply security hardness according to DISA STIG requirements Understanding of network configuration in cloud and on-prem environments Experience with building and deploying Elastic Stack clusters for data and logs Strong grasp of LinuxThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC technology Experience procuring equipment for government contracts and asset management AWS Certification - SysOps or DevOps or Architect Experience managing hybrid on-prem / cloud operating environments Experience with CICD pipelines and GitOps (like ArgoCD) Experience with container management/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2) and/or Platform as a Service (e.g., Openshift) Experience with Helm charts, Kustomize, and/or updating k8s manifestsApex Benefits Overview:Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
