Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining efficient operations while supervising Warehouse Associates in the distribution center.

Essential Functions

• Supervising operations which include receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

• Supervises warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and holding employees accountable to job requirements.

• Ensures the following of safeguards for warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

• Communicates equipment and facility issues to the Facilities department.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Maintains employee work hours to ensure efficient operations while limiting any unnecessary overtime.

• Oversees inventory physical counts; works with Inventory Control Specialist on discrepancies.
