Amneal Pharmaceuticals Manager, Security in Glasgow, Kentucky

Description:

Oversees the administrative supervision of the Security department in New York. Manages Security Supervisors and Security Operators department staff. Provides protection for the assets of the Company (people, facilities, product, information). Responds to incidents and emergencies and provides updates to management. Develops and implements procedures to mitigate threats and meet required codes and regulations. Prepares and maintains all required security manuals. Analyzes loss control and accident reports. Conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies. Responsibilities may include developing and implementing security awareness programs, extra protection for key employees, vendor audits and security risk assessment and planning in the area of crisis management. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function and contract.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the contract guard force and maintain key performance indicators to monitor the contractor’s service. Leverage their services to receive the maximum benefits for our Company. Perform Supply Chain Security audits and investigations of current vendors and their operations. Manage direct reports through performance planning, development, and evaluation process. Ensures practices in place to drive towards a high level of staff morale and retention.

  • Enhance and enforce security policies and procedures, that protect the Company’s assets; people, product facilities and proprietary information. Actively monitor evolving threats to the Company, and proactively audit the established security program can be adjusted to mitigate these threats.

  • Monitor and analyze incident reports, threat risk ratings and industry information to create reports for management to understand the potential for evolving threats and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare, maintain and proactively audit security manuals.

  • Train and oversee the security team, to ensure that they are prepared to respond to incidents and emergencies.

  • Financial Responsibility; Establish, track and maintain annual operating expense budget and prepare Capex budget to ensure efficiency and quality to the security operation.

  • Customer Service; promote a culture of customer service, while maintaining all controls. Work to develop cooperative relations with each business unit as well as relevant public officials. Establish strong relationships with the Business Unit leadership, in order to understand the needs of the business.

  • Maintain accurate records to ensure that all incidents and emergencies are properly recorded and filed in compliance with the records retention policy. Assist in emergency management and contingency planning

  • Conduct, support, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities security processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with the Business Unit leadership, in order to understand the needs of the business.

  • Actively monitor evolving threats to the Company’s, so that the security program can be adjusted to mitigate these threats.

  • Work closely with the contract security vendor and leverage their services, so as to receive the maximum benefit for our Company.

  • Proactively audit all aspects of the Security program, so as to identify and mitigate threats.
