We are looking for a Stores Assistant to join our team in Glasgow.
We are looking for a Stores Assistant for our Warehouse and Logistics Operations department at Sartorius Stedim BioOutsource. In this role, you will be responsible for stock management, manage equipment clean downs, deliver stock between sites whilst following regulatory requirements.
The team consists of 5 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This is a full – time, permanent position with a salary of up to £24,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. This is an onsite role at our Glasgow site at West Scotland Science Park.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will be responsible for managing online storage and procurement system for booking customer products into stock following correct procedures
Manage stock levels to ensure availability of goods for internal customers
Communicate with suppliers to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
Ensure goods in received correctly, checked and stored according to GxP guidelines
Pick, pack and despatch goods across sites ensuring GxP standards are maintained
Monitor and manage equipment in the Materials department to preserve integrity of stock i.e.: clean down fridges, defrost freezers etc.
Deliver goods into controlled areas ie.: laboratories etc.
Ensure paperwork correctly filled out when transferring deliveries between departments and ensure regulations followed for temperature controlled products
Liaise with other departments such as operations, supply chain, manufacturing
What will convince us
Some experience in stores or warehouse environment would be ideal though it's not necessary as full training will be provided
Experience of using Microsoft Office tools ie.: Word, Outlook, Excel is essential
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate the ability to work in a small team where communication is key
Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload requirements
Capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
Attention to detail and “can do” attitude
Full driving license is essential
