Exciting Opportunity for a Commercial Process Excellence Lead

As the Commercial Process Excellence Lead, you will lead the development and implementation of effective and efficient inquiry to order processes across all Chart market verticals and regions, to bring consistency and enable success. As part of the Revenue Operations team, you will programme manage improvement projects in the Inquiry to Order processes globally, ensuring effective prioritisation, resourcing and review mechanisms are in place to successfully deliver. Also, you will establish effective Performance Management for our commercial processes and drive improvement through awareness, training and best practice sharing.

This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week. We offer hybrid working for this role which will allow you to enjoy the balance of home working and collaboration time with the team in our modern, friendly offices.

What Needs To Be Done?

  • Collaborate with Commercial, Inside Sales, Operations, Legal and Finance stakeholders globally to define current Inquiry to Order processes and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and Chart commercial success.

  • Develop a roadmap for improvements related to processes, people and systems and engage with Global Revenue Operations Leadership team to align on prioritisation.

  • Programme manage the portfolio of improvement projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure each initiative is defined, has an owner, is adequately resourced and has a review cadence in place to successfully deliver.

  • Project Manage larger, complex improvement initiatives, partnering with internal and external stakeholders as required to successfully deliver.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence in the commercial organisation globally.

  • Develop team expertise through the adoption of Chart Business Excellence (CBE) methodologies and tools.

  • Embed new processes and systems through stakeholder communication and engagement.

  • Ensure processes are standardised, documented and sustain continuous improvement practices across teams.

  • Define KPI’s for the Inquiry to Order phase and Create Management Dashboards to provide visibility of performance.

  • Monitor Inquiry to Order Performance and drive improvement through identification of corrective actions.

  • Champion the alignment of key business systems (CRM, CPQ, CLM, ERP etc) with the inquiry to order business processes and drive the effective use of these systems to optimize performance.

  • Establish a network of key stakeholders in the inquiry to order process and facilitate forums for regular feedback, discussion and best practice sharing.

To be successful you must have …

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Management or Marketing.

  • Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma, process redesign methodologies and change management.

  • Significant experience of managing complex projects across multiple businesses, functions & geographical regions.

  • High business acumen and commercial background.

  • Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and build cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex processes, build consensus and deliver training.

  • Skilled in data analysis, defining performance metrics and leveraging digital/automation solutions.

  • Team player with proven ability to execute on key metrics and effectively work with matrix structures.

  • Active listener who can transform feedback into solutions and concrete actions .

  • Advanced competency in Visio, Word, Excel, Project & Powerpoint.

It’s a bonus if you have (but not essential) ..

  • Masters Degree.

  • Lean / Six Sigma black belt.

  • Knowledge of Chart products, applications and markets.

  • Experience and understanding of the Inquiry to Order phase in large systems or ETO projects.

  • Competency in Smartsheets & PowerBI.
