Position Description:

As a key member of our team, you will operate a truck-mounted pulling unit responsible for servicing uranium production and injection wells at our ISR mine. Your role involves daily maintenance to uphold operational standards in the wellfield. Tasks include installing submersible pumps and motors, conducting well swabbing, and performing necessary chemical treatments to optimize flow and enhance operational efficiency. A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance is paramount in all aspects of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate truck-mounted pulling units and associated support equipment (hose reels, trailers, water wagons) at ISR wellfields to install or repair well casing and submersible pumps.

  • Perform chemical treatments on wells to improve flow and production efficiency.

  • Inspect and maintain pulling units and associated equipment according to company standards.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and environmental protection while operating a pickup truck on company premises as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by the company.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills including multiplication and division.

  • Experience in operating pulling units or similar equipment used in water or oil well service activities.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions effectively.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to handle equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate verbally. The role also involves regularly lifting weights ranging from 25 to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

Your work will primarily be outdoors at our uranium ISR facility, exposing you to hazards such as low levels of radioactive materials, radiation, moderate noise levels, moving equipment, wet surfaces, uneven ground, and varying weather conditions including cold, hot, snow, rain, and mud.

Benefits:

Once hire full time our client offers a comprehensive benefits package including fully paid Group Health Insurance with a low deductible PPO plan (70% paid for dependents' premiums), vision, dental, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, short-term disability, fuel allowance, and boot reimbursement.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
