Position Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the construction of header houses and their components at our ISR mine, ensuring operational readiness from initial well installation through full assembly. Tasks include utilizing construction equipment, fusing tools, forklifts, and other specialized machinery for building construction and well component installation. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate construction equipment and fusing tools for header house construction and well component installation.

  • Conduct construction activities around wells and pipeline installations.

  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities.

  • Operate company pickup trucks as needed.

  • Provide cross-departmental support and assistance.

  • Perform mechanical maintenance on operational equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cementing wells and construction-related activities.

  • Valid driver's license with company insurability.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.

  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic.

  • Experience in pulling units, water or oil well service activities, and equipment troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with construction activities, pipelining, and equipment operations.

Equipment Used:

  • Fusing Equipment (Side Winder fusing press, Poly press)

  • Water Truck, Cementing Unit, Forklift, Backhoe, Pulling unit

  • Centrifugal pumps, Diesel motors, Poly Hose Reels

  • Air Compressor, Generators, Hand tools, power tools

  • Welding equipment, General Electrical, PVC piping gluing

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in well work and construction activities.

  • Valid Driver's License Class C.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to comprehend instructions and maintain records.

  • Proficiency in arithmetic calculations and problem-solving.

  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to daily tasks.

Safety and Work Environment:

  • Knowledgeable about and adherence to industrial safety and radiation safety policies.

  • Physically capable of performing job duties in various weather conditions and hazardous environments.

Benefits:

Once hired full time our client offers a comprehensive benefits package including fully paid Group Health Insurance with a low deductible PPO plan (70% paid for dependents' premiums), vision, dental, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, short-term disability, fuel allowance, and boot reimbursement.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
