Robert Half Sales Assistant in Gilbert, Arizona

Description We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant to be stationed in Gilbert, Arizona, 85233, United States. This role is within the manufacturing industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the backbone of our sales process, handling everything from order entry to inventory management, primarily for repeat customers.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and assist with customer inquiries.

• File and organize customer information.

• Utilize mathematical skills to compare and analyze data.

• Process orders from multiple outside sales channels, including emails and calls.

• Manage inventory to ensure product availability.

• Handle the entire order process, ensuring a smooth transaction for each customer.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and CRM software to maintain accurate customer records.

• Assist with complaint handling and closing processes.

• Collaborate with the team to create an interactive and casual work culture.

• Operate Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook for various administrative tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales Assistant role or similar position

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Experience with CRM systems

• Familiarity with About Time, Cash Activity, and Closing Processes

• Proven ability in handling customer complaints efficiently and effectively

• Experience in interacting with C-Suite executives

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and software.
