About You
Candidates for the Forensic Services Supervisor must possess:
A Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Forensic Science (Criminalistics); Biology; Biochemistry; Chemistry; or a closely related field of study.
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience performing crime scene processing, latent print comparisons, or working as a Criminalist or Forensic Scientist in a laboratory actively engaged in the forensic sciences preferred.
Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver's License by date of hire.
Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona Automated Fingerprint Identification System certification within 12 months.
Must be court qualified as an expert witness.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph is required.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
