Citigroup AVP, Risk CAO Business Analyst (Hybrid) Getzville, New York
The Risk Chief Administrative Office provides support to the Risk organization with a focus on governance, control effectiveness, regulatory engagement, risk communications, and financial performance including resource management.
The Resource and Business Office Management team within the Risk CAO has strategic and operational responsibilities to support Citi Chief Risk Officer and the Independent Risk organization to achieve its priorities and liaise with HR, Finance, O&T, ESPA and all Risk CROs by managing resources, accountability, business and strategic planning and analysis, resilience, and overall business office management.
The Business Office analyst is a strategic professional who supports the Risk Location Strategy and space management, especially with on-site coordination. This will include site lead network support, on-site office management for space, employee engagement, and recruitment efforts. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide on-site initiatives to success.
Responsibilities:
Develop, provide, and/or present meaningful messaging and guidance on Risk Location Strategy requirements and initiatives, especially for Buffalo Risk.
Support Buffalo Risk site leadership initiatives, including governance for communications and distributions, and space management. Assist Buffalo Risk site lead in development of key risk and control topics, key reporting, and creation of materials for site forums.
Assist with the coordination of the Risk Site Network
Contribute to the Independent Risk Continuity of Business Plans. This includes an annual and quarterly process to update or create and test COB plans.
Participate in the Manager’s Control Assessment with ongoing maintenance and monitoring.
Contribute to the review of entitlements
Support key initiatives and requirements that collectively cover execution, oversight, and reporting of the Independent Risk CAO’s Operational & Compliance Risk activities.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Experience with databases and information management
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to interact with many levels of management
Methodical and proactive thinker with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Proven time and task management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively and promptly
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and data management/ mining
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
