Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

KBR is seeking a Billeting Technician to join our team. The Billeting Technician will be responsible for managing and coordinating lodging facilities to ensure the comfort and well-being of all personnel.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of billeting facilities, ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations.

  • Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs to optimize lodging capacity and accommodate personnel and authorized guests.

  • Supervise, escort and direct subcontractor employees.

  • Responsible for Key control and tracking.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all personnel and their families, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

  • Resolve issues related to lodging accommodations and ensure a positive living experience for all guests.

  • Work with operations to ensure service orders for living quarters are completed in a timely manner.

  • Conduct regular inspections of billeting facilities to identify maintenance needs and coordinate with relevant personnel for repairs and improvements.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet quality standards.

  • Maintain proper inventory of supplies for living quarters and cleaning.

  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, occupancy rates, and maintenance activities.

  • Generate reports and statistics related to billeting operations as required by higher headquarters and command leadership.

  • Stay informed about associated regulations, guidelines, and policies related to billeting and lodging operations.

  • Ensure adherence to security and safety protocols within the lodging facilities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of directly related experience; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.

  • Knowledge of lodging regulations and procedures is required.

  • Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility required.

  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Must be familiar with computerized reservation systems.

  • Requires intermediate knowledge and experience with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Requires a valid driver's license.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Previous experience in hotel management, hospitality, or a similar field is highly desirable.
