A company in Washington County is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team.

Job Description

As a Quality Technician, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of inspecting raw materials, work-in-progress parts, and completed products to identify defects, deviations, and quality control issues. You will recommend corrective actions and track performance while providing training as required. You will report findings to production or quality managers, and document inspection results for internal and client use. In addition, you will participate in root cause investigations and other continuous improvement activities while supporting lean initiatives to enhance quality and reduce defects. Your role also includes developing and maintaining quality control documentation that meets AS9100 or ISO 9001 Standards. You will conduct data analysis, monitor key parameters and utilize statistical process control tools to identify trends, reduce variation and improve process control.

Hours:

This is a first shift Monday to Friday, with 40 to 45 hours per week. There may be opportunities for overtime during big projects or when issues arise. You will spend 90% of your time on the floor conducting quality checks and investigations. You will be working closely with production leads and the quality manager on a daily basis.
