Job Title: Maintenance Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled maintenance welder to join our team. The role involves welding parts for various applications, including generators, valves, ovens, dishwashers, and automotive vehicles. You will work with MIG (.032-.035, 16 gauge) and TIG stainless steel welding techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Weld parts for generators, valves, ovens, dishwashers, and automotive vehicles.

  • Perform MIG welding with .032-.035, 16 gauge materials.

  • Execute TIG welding on stainless steel.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

  • Use calipers, height gauges, and other measurement tools.

  • Work with materials such as copper, brass, and aluminum.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

  • Experience in MIG welding.

  • Skilled in working with stainless steel.

  • Ability to use calipers and height gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in TIG welding with aluminum is highly beneficial.

  • Ability to operate fabrication equipment is a plus.

  • Experience working with copper, brass, and aluminum is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and relaxed facility with a friendly atmosphere. The work hours are divided into two shifts: 1st shift from 5:50 am to 2:20 pm and 2nd shift from 2:20 pm to 10:20 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
