Adecco US, Inc. Quality Assurance Specialist in Georgia, Vermont
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist position in Georgia, VT. This is a permanent DIRECT HIRE opportunity with full company benefits. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for all activities of implementation, creation, and management of the SQF/HARPC and Quality programs at this facility. Work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm.
Responsibilities of QA Specialist:
Establish and Elaborate the SQF/HARPC program documentation: collect all necessary information, write procedures covering the application of GMPs, HARPC and other pre-requisite programs, make the documentation available to all users/followers of HARPC program (on the server and in manuals)
Review all Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring and verification records to ensure compliance with HACCP critical limits and frequencies, as required by the HARPC plan
Monitor HARPC and PRPs to ensure procedures are properly carried out
Review and evaluate all records for accuracy and completeness and determine need for process improvement
Develop and implement training plans for SQF, FSMA, HARPC, GMP, allergen control, chemical control, glass control, SSOPs and all required plant programs
Perform mock recalls and ensure identification, labeling, and traceability system functions as planned
Conduct SQF/ HARPC team meetings and required HARPC review
Analyze processes, identify trends and anomalies, and continuously evaluate plant programs for improvement
Ensure all food safety-related documents and records are controlled and that current issues are in use
Lead/Guide the FDA inspectors and customer’s auditors during their inspections/audits
Manage the issues of non-compliance
Manage customer complaints
Follow inspections/audits (by ACIA or clients), write an action plan, Coordinate the non-compliance report, request corrective actions
Perform the internal audits of the HARPC program
Participate and contribute to the efforts of the Quality Control & Assurance team in order to ensure the success of tasks and projects
Required Qualifications of QA Specialist:
Must have 2 – 3 years of experience in the food industry and similar functions
Good knowledge of HACCP and GMP
Familiarity of quality management systems
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Knowledge of hygienic and security rules applied to the food industry
MUST have SQF background

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
