Summary

The overall purpose of this position isto set-up, provide operating materials and operate the wrapping machines adjustments as needed ensuring the wrapping quality meets Perdue Standards.Usually works five to six days a week; hours and overtime vary due to production need, generally 7:30 pm - 5:30 am.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Set up and maintain adequate supply of film for (2) wrapping machines lifting 40 lb rolls of film, from floor level to 4 high to the machine film rack for each shift.
2. Operate the (2) wrapping machines making adjustments to tension as needed to ensure Perdue Packing Standards are met.
3. Transfer totes of work product weighing up to 30 lbfrom packers station to the rework table approximately 12 ft.
4. Assist lead person in daily dept. Set up including tray placers, recipe placers and shrink tunnel.
5. Set- Up Grasselli machines.
