Forklift Operator – Randstad – Geneva, IL

Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a new opportunity? Randstad is hiring for a key position in Geneva, IL, where you'll be part of a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility. If you're ready to make a difference in a growing environment, this is your chance!

Job Summary: As a sit-down forklift operator with Randstad, you'll be responsible for:

• Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles.

• Loading products onto designated locations.

• Creating and moving pallets for storage or shipment.

• Identifying and reporting damages, shortages, or quality issues.

Location: Geneva, IL

Salary: $18/hr

Work Hours: 8-hour shifts, 1st shift 6:45 PM - 3:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience preferred.

• Experience with warehouse operations and use of WMS preferred.

• Forklift certification and/or willingness to obtain one.

Skills:

• Operate RF scanner.

• Safe forklift operation in production/packaging and warehouse environments.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.

Dress Code:

• Shirts or t-shirts with sleeves and no holes or rips.

• Pants without holes or rips.

• Steel toe requiered

• Closed-toe, non-slip footwear required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting.

• Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment.
