Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer - Boeing Defense & Space (Associate, Experienced, Senior or Lead) to join our growing Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team in Gdansk, Poland.

Our team are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced, Senior and Lead Full Stack Software Developer.

This team is tasked with transforming the way BDS data is sourced, managed, and utilized to unlock insights to drive business growth and optimization. The team supports data needs for internal stakeholders, across BDS business programs and functions, and is tasked with utilizing data to inform and improve the full lifecycle of BDS products. We are seeking full stack developers to design self-service analytics tools that put the power of insights directly into the hands of users, enabling them to make informed decisions faster than ever before. You’ll be at the forefront of this transformation, crafting innovative, high-performance applications that make data accessible, intuitive, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that enable users to perform self-service analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to deliver robust analytics solutions.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the entire stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

  • Implement and maintain APIs and backend services that process and serve large volumes of data.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development and analytics.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle, including CI/CD practices, testing, and deployment automation.

  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Candidates are expected to work from our office in Gdansk for at least 2 days a week.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

  • English language level – intermediate or higher.

  • Existing rights to work in Poland.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Associate (Level 2)

  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).

  • Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., D3.js, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experienced (Level 3)

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).

  • Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., D3.js, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Senior (Level 4)

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).

  • Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., D3.js, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Lead (Level 5)

  • 9+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).

  • Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., D3.js, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
