Maintenance Technician

Currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Burns Harbor, IN area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: Rotating all 3 shifts., will rotate weekly.

• 1st: 7am-3pm

• 2nd: 3pm-11pm

• 3rd: 11pm-7am

Will work weekends and could move to 12 hour shifts if needed.

Training on day shift with lead Technician.

Job Description:

• Oversee 8 Slitting tables

• Adjust machinery, tooling, and shears

• Utilize calipers to quality check machinery

• Complete PMs as per schedule

• Troubleshoot and repair Slitter tables

• Utilize Allen Bradley PLCs to monitor faults and conditions

• Rewire motors

• Solder coder cables

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic motors

• Maintain production and equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with slitter machines

• Electrical and mechanical experience (80/20)

• Troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC drives

• Electrical and mechanical schematic reading

• Motor repair

• MIG welding experience (nice to have)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68328.00 - $68328.00/yr.
