About the Job
The primary responsibility of the Mission Assurance Engineering position is to manage the development and submission of analysis, data and reports on the Supplier Document Requirements List (SDRLs) for Space, Military, Medical and High Reliability Programs. These SDRLs are generated in collaboration with the Product and Quality Engineers as well as outside analysis partners. The typical Mission Assurance requirements in our subcontracts include:
AS9102 First Article Inspections
Mechanical, Structural, Thermal, Reliability, and Worst Case Analysis
Mission Assurance, Management, Configuration Control and Contamination Control Plans
Parts Stress, Derating and Radiation Analysis
Compliance Matrices, FMEA
Others as needed
This position requires a Technical/Engineering background to effectively interface with Internal and External partners and Customers as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing all facets of the Mission Assurance requirements for programs as noted above.
Coordinates data provided to outside Analysis partners and supports their efforts along with Micropac Product Engineering as needed to complete required reports.
Interfaces with the Program Manager weekly to report status of each SDRL and attends internal and customer status meetings as needed.
Capability to accurately and efficiently work on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
Work with Customers as needed to clarify SDRL requirements and submit completed reports per the program schedule.
Support all Design Reviews including Program Kickoff, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, Manufacturing and Test Readiness Reviews.
Assist Program Manager in generating required Data Package PowerPoint slides for the reviews.
Job Requirements
BS degree in Engineering or related discipline
Senior position with 5 years of experience
Excellent technical writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Adobe
Prior Quality Assurance experience is desired
