About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Manager of Shelter Case Management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shelter case management program, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and support. You will work closely with the Shelter Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the well-being of our clients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in case management or a related field

  • Experience supervising staff

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field

  • Experience working with homeless populations

  • Experience with grant writing and budgeting

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train case managers to ensure that they are providing high-quality services to clients

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the shelter is operating efficiently and effectively

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that clients receive comprehensive services

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and program outcomes

  • Assist the Shelter Manager with budgeting, grant writing, and other administrative tasks as needed

Skills:

As the Assistant Manager of Shelter Case Management, you will use your strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care and support. You will also use your expertise in case management and social work to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the well-being of our clients and staff. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role, as you collaborate with other departments to ensure that clients receive comprehensive services. Finally, your experience with grant writing and budgeting will be valuable as you assist the Shelter Manager with administrative tasks.
