Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Gardena, California

Description

We are seeking an individual to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, California, as a Customer Service Representative. The role primarily involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and assisting in warehouse return processes within the logistics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally

• Providing accurate information about products, services, and order statuses

• Resolving customer issues and complaints effectively to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

• Accurately entering customer orders into the system and processing them in a timely manner

• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time

• Managing Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) efficiently

• Communicating with customers regarding return policies and procedures

• Processing returns and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure returned products are handled appropriately

• Assisting the warehouse team with receiving and processing returned items

• Ensuring returned items are inspected, sorted, and processed correctly

• Supporting inventory management by updating records for returned items

Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.

• Demonstrated ability in data entry and order entry tasks.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Experience in managing email correspondence professionally and effectively.

• Ability to schedule appointments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
