Description

A reputable company is expanding their team in the food processing industry and are currently on the lookout for a Corporate Paralegal. This Corporate Paralegal role involves handling a variety of legal tasks related to our corporate operations. The successful candidate will be involved in reviewing and managing contracts, as well as tracking and monitoring leases.

This Corporate Paralegal role offers training and development and will require 5 days in office.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the reviewing process of new leases and lease renewals, including amendments.

• Handle corporate paralegal tasks to support the legal team.

• Manage contracts efficiently, ensuring all legal requirements are met.

• Review, redline, and track leases to ensure compliance with legal standards.

• Take responsibility for the process of construction contracts, ensuring all agreements are in line with industry regulations.

• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document management and communication tasks.

• Apply corporate paralegal skills to manage various legal tasks in the organization.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer inquiries promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Paralegal, ideally within the Food & Food Processing industry, for a minimum of 2 years

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat to manage and organize documents efficiently

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders

• Familiarity with Corporate Paralegal practices and procedures

• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts

• Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times

• A degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field would be advantageous

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate is required
