Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to verify accuracy and completeness.

• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner.

• Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for and resolved.

• Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience working in accounts payable or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
