CONTENT DESCRIPTION: We are a 35-year-old, Savannah-based group of companies with multiple locations across the U.S. This position works out of the corporate office and reports directly to the CFO as a member of the Finance and Administration Department. An ideal candidate will work independently and perform many functions of the job with minimal oversight. Major Responsibilities Include: * Processing of full-cycle payroll data for multiple states and companies inclusive of time entry, wage deductions related to garnishments, taxes, PTO Accruals, and payroll adjustments to ensure proper payment to employees. * Assist with benefits administration including open enrollment, new-hire enrollment, termination of benefits (including Cobra), benefit billing reconciliation, and assisting employees with understanding the benefits offered. * Keep HRIS/Payroll and other supporting systems up to date with all employee changes. Includes but is not limited to entering new hires, employee status changes, rate changes, direct deposit, and terminations. * Assist with worker's compensation reporting and claim management. Do you have experience in QuickBooks?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Recent Payroll processing experience for 50 or more employees is required. * 5+ years of payroll and benefits administration required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. * Recent QuickBooks experience is required. * Knowledgeable of Georgia State and Federal employment laws and regulations. * Strong organizational skills are required. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure and prioritize responsibilities. * Ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters. * Job Type: Full-time, Exempt position, Hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Requirements Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Benefit Functions
