As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice within the Emergency Services departments. Under the supervision of an RN, performs telemetry monitoring.

Required Skills Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.

ACLS & PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 months of employment, if not current upon hire Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State LPN licensure - Required Proof of certification in IV therapy as mandated by the State of TN (ref: Chapter 1000-02 - .15 LPN Scope of Practice) - Preferred Drag Edit Delete

Minimum Work Experience Emergency experience preferred. Previous experience as a unit secretary and/or monitor tech - Preferred.
