Directs Surgical Services departments' activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Reports to: Administrative Director Ancillary Services

Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing - Required Drag Edit Delete

Minimum Education Master's degree in Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration - Preferred Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 30 days of hire, if not current upon hire. Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure - Required Drag Edit Delete

Minimum Work Experience Minimum 7 years Clinical Nursing (3 years in Surgical Services) experience with at least 5 years Management/Leadership experience - Required Experience with Cardiac Surgery Service Lines - Preferred
