Intel Senior verification Engineer in Galati, Romania

Job Description

SIPG department is looking for a Senior Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer About the Group:SIPG develops and delivers PLL's and all High Speed SerDes's to Intel devices. The team delivers state of the art technologies as 224G and higher Ethernet SerDes.

In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit from January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

About the job:

In this role, you will perform functional verification of IP logic to ensure design will meet specification requirements. You will also develop IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage to confirm to microarchitecture specifications. In addition, you will execute verification plans and define and run system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs. You will collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.

This is a Fully Remote role in Romania.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Pre-Silicon verification.

  • Knowledge in System-Verilog/Specman.

  • Knowledge in OVM/UVM methodology - advantage.

  • Knowledge in digital PHY- advantage.

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
