Job Title: Lead Service CoordinatorJob Description
As a Lead Service Coordinator, you will take charge of dispatching a team of 9 service technicians, manage ordering of parts, and monitor schedules while adjusting priorities as needed. You will also lead two other members on the dispatch team. Your responsibilities will include answering customer calls, scheduling appointments for field personnel, keeping customers updated on the status of their service calls, and professionally addressing and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be expected to perform other office duties as needed and provide continuous support to customers, field service personnel, and management.
Hard Skills
HVAC industry experience
3-5 years of Dispatch / Service Coordination Experience
2-3 years of leadership experience supervising other dispatchers
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with Dispatch Software
Typing speed of 40wpm or more
Soft Skills
Active listening
Excellent communication skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite, located in a large office room alongside your team, supporting 9 service technicians with plans to expand. You will directly supervise two other team members, one entry-level and one former driver now working in dispatch. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30/8:00 AM to 4/5:00 PM, with flexibility required based on team needs.
