Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Operations Manager II for Asbury Methodist Village located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, - the 10th largest CCRC in the country. The Food Operations Manager will oversee the food service operations for Residential Living, serving approximately 600 residents, responsible for front of the house and back of the house operations for Residential Living Dining Rooms.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of day-to-day dining operations for the Independent and Assisted Living residents;

• ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved;

• interface closely and daily with residents;

• provides stellar customer service;

• motivate, coach, mentor, and develop frontline staff.

• food production experience in either a senior living or healthcare setting;

• Hands-on skills with inventory management and ordering;

• strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop employees;

• working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance;

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
