Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Gainesville, Georgia

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in GAINESVILLE, Georgia. This role involves planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. This is a contract to hire role in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.

• Handle the month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis.

• Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash.

• Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection.

• Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners.

• Assist in the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

• Utilize skills in 'Month End Close', 'Account Reconciliation', 'Financial Statement Preparation', 'Variance Analysis', 'Annual Standard Cost', 'SAP', 'Microsoft Excel' to perform job duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of SAP

• Experience in Financial Statement Preparation

• Skilled in Variance Analysis

• Familiarity with Month End Close process

• Experience in Annual Standard Cost calculation

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
