The University of Florida, Department of Pediatrics is pleased to announce a faculty opening for a full-time Pediatric Psychologist in the, Division of General Pediatrics to support the needs of pediatrics patients with hematologic diseases, cell therapy recipients, [pediatrics cancer(s), and /or palliative care. This will be a non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team that is co-located and integrated into a large, multi-site general pediatrics practice within an academic medical center. Patients are referred to the team by general pediatrics providers and pediatrics subspecialty providers within and outside of UFHealth.

The psychologist will provide a broad range of outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families, including triage, consultation, care coordination, DSM 5 diagnostic assessments, psychological testing, problem-focused, evidence-based interventions, and referrals to other behavioral health and general pediatrics providers at UF Health and in the community as needed. Assignment will be comprised of clinical assessment and evaluation, psychosocial therapies, research, teaching and administrative activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A doctorate in psychology from an accredited college or university, which includes one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology.

Active/Unrestricted license in the State of Florida or license eligible in the State of Florida.
