Job Summary and Qualifications

The Transplant Cellular Therapy Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the TCT clinic. This individual serves as a resource for the BMT/Cellular Therapy, the interdisciplinary team, and other pharmacists. Duties will include the coordination, education, and medication management of anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications, with oversight of organization-wide collaboration on quality projects. Participation on multi-disciplinary rounds including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation will be performed.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD). ASHP residency preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Successful completion of a Postgraduate Year Two (PGY-2) Pharmacy Residency Program in oncology OR minimum of five years of hospital pharmacy experience, with two of those years in the area of focus.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Pharmacist license in the State of Florida required. If licensed Pharmacist in another state, proof of Authorization to Test (ATT) required. BLS or ACLS required. Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) certification required upon eligibility.
