JOB SUMMARY :

Under the general supervision of the Lead Cook/Supervisor, prepares and cooks food for patients, staff and visitors. Responsible for maintaining production and related areas in a clean and sanitary manner in accordance with all local, state and federal regulating agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

  • High school diploma/ GED

Experience:

  • Six months previous experience in quantity food preparation with at least one-year experience in a hospital or restaurant setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Food service experience in a hospital or restaurant setting. Six months previous experience in quantity food preparation with at least one-year experience in a hospital or restaurant setting.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Serve-Safe” food handlers certification
