Acadia Healthcare Maintenance Assistant in Ft. Myers, Florida

Description

  • Performs routine and specific maintenance services which may include grounds work.

  • Performs general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment which may involve plumbing, painting and mechanical equipment repair or similar.

  • Act as back-up for call person in case of emergency, respond timely and appropriately.

  • Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

  • Handle all equipment in a safe manner to prevent accidents and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools and their safe use.

  • Follow preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency, knowledge, skills, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.

  • Knowledge of general building maintenance and repair requirements.

  • General IT knowledge

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in a hospital / facility preferred.
