Bakery clerk responsibilities

1. Ensure that the bakery section of the store is clean and well-organized.
2. Maintain accurate product displays, labels, and signage.
3. Preparation of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and baking bread and pastries.
4. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
5. Operate bakery equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and slicers.
6. Price and package baked goods for sale.
7. Follow health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation procedures.

Bakery clerk required skills

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
2. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time.
3. Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy.

Required qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
